The Third National Creative Writing Competition

The third National Creative Writing Competition in English, organized by the Sun Yat-sen University Center for English-language Creative Writing, is now accepting submissions.

Submissions may consist of fiction or nonfiction pieces up to 2000 words, or up to three poems. They will be judged by 2 writers who have training in creative writing in English-speaking countries. One winner each will be selected for first, second and third prizes. Winning work will be considered for publication and winners may be invited to give a reading in Guangzhou.

Participants must be non-native speakers of English who study in a university in China. Submissions must be in .doc, .docx, or .pdf form and should be sent to sysucwc2016@163.com by Dec. 16, 2016.
